January 20, 2008 Glenn Lake

Got out for a couple of hours today to do a little jigging. It was cold and I should have earned a sticker for being so stupid to go out and fish in that weather. cold and windy it was. Some very small perch off of the west shore but that was it for my 1.5-2 hour trip. Headed home for some heat.

January 19, 2008 Gorham Pond

Went to Gorham pond with the wife and son today. We went out to the point and setup. After we did there were some fish on the camera to peek my wife’s interest that this was going to be a fun day.

She jigged up a fish out side of the shanty from a nearby hole. But when she did this from within the shanty and a giant pickeral slammed her bait as she saw it all on the aqua vu, she was indeed hooked on fishing for sure.

Ryan wrangled up a largemouth on a silver buddy and then later my brother shawn and nephew nick showed up for a little bit and got into some jigging action on the perch and bluegill. Was a fun day out for sure.

January 13th, Clement Pond

I ventured out to find Clement pond once and for all. With a little intell from a fellow iceshanty.com member I found a spot to enter the ice. Actually met him there that day. We fished near the middle and each got a few perch.

I did fall on my shoulder pretty bad as the ice was very slick today. Hurt my shoulder very bad from this and was soar for months.
